Job Overview:

Working as a part of our analytics team in India for our clients worldwide, the successful candidate would be responsible for data handling, processing, manipulation and perform analysis on large-scale and complex datasets using SAS/ SPSS. The position would require working onsite / offsite across varied short term / long term analytics driven projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Import, cleanse, consolidate and store data from various database environments
• Manipulate large data sets in SAS / SPSS
• Work with the programming team to develop and implement reusable programs, macros, and processes.
• Ability to use basic statistical techniques to perform analysis and develop hypothesis
• Provide statistical programming and validation support
• Develop SOP’s and related technical documents
• Ensure timely progress of analysis datasets, tables, listings, presentations and graphs
• Interact with clients to formalize data sources, understand data
• Conduct analysis and develop recommendations

Skills Required:

• Must have ability to manage & meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with SAS/BASE, SAS/STAT, SAS/MACRO, SAS/Access, MS Excel
• Attention to detail, quality and accuracy is essential
• Advanced knowledge of statistics, high-level math or related areas is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, perform well within the programming team, and within cross-functional teams
• Attitude to work in a start-up organization environment; innovative
• Strong communication skills

Work Experience:

• 1 - 4 years of experience in of advanced SAS programming experience
• Experience in Financial Services, Telecom, or Retail vertical preferred

Educational Background:

• B.E./ B Tech. (or) Masters in Statistics/Economics/Mathematics or Equivalent
